mkfs.ntfs /dev/sdc1
Oh my God — why?? This is a 250 GB disk with a USB2 interface, so I’m in for a long wait apparently.
# mkfs.ntfs /dev/sdc1
Cluster size has been automatically set to 4096 bytes.
Initializing device with zeroes: 4%
It this the Windows-way or is mkfs.ntfs
a little bit brain dead?
