# mkfs.ntfs /dev/sdc1

Oh my God --- why?? This is a 250 GB disk with a USB2 interface, so
I'm in for a long wait apparently.

    # mkfs.ntfs /dev/sdc1
Cluster size has been automatically set to 4096 bytes.
    Initializing device with zeroes: 4%

It this the Windows-way or is `mkfs.ntfs` a little bit brain dead?
